The Essence of Urbanism.
The focus is not on the skyscrapers but the things about the city that we have been confronted with. The senses can play a big part of different design elements we see. We will meet at a place called

Coopertown Dinner (339 1st Avenue, between 19 and 20 street) at 9:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m.

where we will talk about the project and have coffee and something to eat. Once we're all there, we will depart together or alone to shoot.
At 8:00 p.m. we will meet again to wrap up the day and we will be off to finish shooting or go home.
(SECOND HALF of this PROJECT)
We will either post our work all on a specific day and throughout that day we can talk about what we did.
Please note me if this is something of interest. I can't wait!!"

For who who is not familiar with parisian institutions, the Palais de Tokyo is the city institution concerning contemporay art. I was there because they have a black and white true argentic photomaton where my daughters love to do stupid photo (ok me too !). Than I went to the shop to look for things... I saw a nice little model of a fighter girl and I immediately thought at *jetZig who is deeply into girl fight.  This model was in a fridge, go ask why.. . I began to take a photo for him, than the shop keeper told me : « no photo ! ». And as I'm a bit nasty I just answered : « well, we are in a high place of contempory art where transgression it the rule, so... what the fuck about rules »... but she goes on saying « no photo ». Well I said : « it's art »... and she said « no it's a photo »...

Well so the shop keeper of one of the most trendy contemporary place in Paris still does not know that photo can be art ?  She does not even know that all the goods that she is seling have been stolen from others ?

And the most stupid : puting rules around something that is about breaking the rules ! What a pity.

Please avoid us the contemporary art official players ! Let's go wild and outside the institution !

Last News (09/24/06):
- 09-12-06 : well 102 people are watching me, and for the last week the comments are quite rare. You know what ? I NEED feed back. I'm tired of speaking in the void. Really.
- 17-11-07 : today I have learnt the death of ~Mopti this man was as a good man as a good photographer. I'm really sad, and I'm thinking about his wife.
- 02-09-06 : I'm more than one year late on the time flow. But for now I'm just adding some random photos from the last trip
- 08-05-06 : added a series of small quote by Baudelaire, one by Bellmer, found both on the Bellmer exhibition in Paris.
- 10-03-06 : Added a Noir Désir quote.
- 04-03-06 : I have 3003 deviations today. What a useless waste of time and energy.
- added a Miller quote in the end of the quote section.

Old news :

- back from 10 days in Armenia. Yerevan and Stepanakert (Karabagh). 2500 photos. Ararat is a kind of experience to do. 206D 94C what a job...
- Thanks thanks thanks again for the comments, I need them.

- I'm very tired. I'm stuck with the flow of photos and so many words that just are stuck in my head. I'm an empty head, every time I listen to music I would like to create the piece I'm listening to. Every time I read a great book, I want to write the same story with the same words. Photography is surely the perfect way to write the life with its own words.


- thanks again for the support by my DA friends. Your everyday attention is really essential for me.

- a bit of positive point ; thanks for the faves. I have no real time to do it one by one. On another point, I'll have my new computer in 2 ou 3 weeks, if Apple wants it.

- I'm more and more aware that I'll never be able to be a photographer. Being a photographer has little to do with the ability of doing good or bad photography. Being a photographer has to do with the ability of making things that are acceptable and beeing able to « sell » it.
